Harlem Under Siege! Two Community Gardens. One completely razed, the other partially destroyed, stopped by police - for now!
This is in complete disregard of the law set for these GreenThumb gardens.
Press Conference Monday Afternoon 2pm: at the Pueblo Unido community garden (Madison btw 111th & 110th Streets) Visit All day Monday.

The NYCCGC committee has been working with a larger group, including More Gardens!, Just Food and The Hunger Action Network of NYS, to reactivate the New York State Office of Community Gardens and to strengthen community gardens statewide.
Committee members recently visited Albany to ask State Senate and Assembly members to renew funding for the office.
