2- Include 50% low income and 30% middle income units in construction
3- Insist that the developers meet with affected community groups and meet their needs

The NYCCGC committee has been working with a larger group, including More Gardens!, Just Food and The Hunger Action Network of NYS, to reactivate the New York State Office of Community Gardens and to strengthen community gardens statewide.
Committee members recently visited Albany to ask State Senate and Assembly members to renew funding for the office.
